The rules, in plain language.

These terms cover what you can expect from lifori, what we expect from you, and how Pro subscriptions work. We've tried to write them like a person, not a lawyer.

Use it well, treat it as guidance, and the rest is mostly common sense.

1. Agreement to these terms

By installing or using lifori (the "app", the "service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. There's no separate sign-up because lifori has no accounts — these terms apply automatically when you install the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use lifori. If you're between 13 and the legal age of majority where you live, your parent or guardian should review these terms with you.

2. What lifori is (and isn't)

lifori is a personal daily operating system: habit tracking, focus tools, mood & hydration logging, guided recovery, and (on the Pro tier) an AI coach that surfaces patterns from your data. It's a wellness companion designed to help you build a rhythm that lasts.

What lifori is not:

If you're in crisis — in the US, call or text 988. In the UK, call 116 123 (Samaritans). Outside those, your local emergency number or findahelpline.com.

3. Free tier and lifori Pro

The free tier is offered at no cost and includes the core habit, focus, and tracking tools. lifori Pro unlocks the AI Coach, weekly deep dives, recovery intelligence, advanced analytics, and premium themes.

Pricing & billing. Pro is sold through Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). Current prices are shown on the in-app paywall. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. We never see or store your payment details — that's handled entirely by Apple or Google.

7-day free trial (when eligible). The annual plan offers a 7-day free trial to eligible new subscribers. Eligibility is determined by Apple or Google at purchase time — returning subscribers who have already used a trial typically aren't eligible. If you are eligible and cancel before the trial ends (in your platform's subscription settings), you won't be charged. After day 7 it converts to the annual plan at the price shown when you started.

Founder's Lifetime. A limited lifetime purchase may be offered during launch windows or promotional periods at a price shown on the paywall. Lifetime means access for as long as the app exists and continues to operate — not literal forever.

Refunds. All subscription refunds are processed by Apple or Google under their respective policies. We don't have a separate refund channel. If a charge looks wrong and the platform's refund flow isn't working, email hello@lifori.app and we'll do what we can to help.

Cancelling. Manage or cancel anytime from your platform's subscription settings, or from More → Manage Pro inside the app (which deep-links to the right place).

4. AI Coach (Pro)

The AI Coach generates daily insights, weekly reviews, and personalised suggestions based on summarised, anonymised slices of your last 14 days. It's a probabilistic tool — its output may occasionally be inaccurate, generic, or unhelpful. Treat it as a thoughtful nudge, not a verdict.

We don't store your conversation history with the coach. Requests are processed and discarded. See the Privacy Policy for the exact data flow.

5. Acceptable use

Please use lifori for its intended purpose. You agree not to:

We reserve the right to revoke Pro entitlements and refuse service if these terms are materially breached. Because there are no accounts, "revoking" is platform-side (refund / chargeback / blocklist of the offending receipt).

6. Your data and your content

Anything you log in lifori — habits, notes, mood, water, focus sessions — is yours. It lives on your device unless you export it, restore it, use OS-level device backup, or request a feature that needs network processing. We don't claim ownership of any user-generated content. The Privacy Policy describes the data flow, backups, exports, AI Coach processing, and remote habit updates.

7. Intellectual property

The lifori app, brand, designs, original content, and underlying engines are owned by lifori (us). You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own daily life. That licence ends if you uninstall the app or materially breach these terms.

Built-in habits, themes, and emoji illustrations are licensed to lifori for use within the app. You may not extract or redistribute them.

8. Changes, retirement, and availability

We're a small team building lifori with care. We may add features, change the way existing features work, or — in the worst case — retire the app. We'll give reasonable notice for material changes (in-app or via the website). Pricing changes for existing Pro subscribers will follow Apple's / Google's notification rules and your platform's cancellation flow remains available.

The app is offered "as is" and "as available". Brief outages, syncing hiccups with iCloud/Drive, or AI worker rate limits may happen. We aim for uptime but can't promise perfection.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

None of this is intended to limit rights you may have under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction that cannot be waived by contract.

10. Termination

You can stop using lifori at any time by uninstalling the app. If you have an active subscription, cancel it from your platform settings to avoid the next renewal.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms (especially sections 5 and 7). Termination doesn't affect terms that by their nature should survive — IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which lifori operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will first be addressed by contacting us at hello@lifori.app — we're genuinely small, friendly, and prefer to resolve things directly.

If a dispute can't be resolved informally, it will be handled in the competent courts of the operating jurisdiction, except where a non-waivable consumer law in your country provides for a different forum.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and — for material changes — note it in the app or release notes. Continued use after a material change means you accept the updated terms. If you don't accept them, please uninstall the app.
